Paloma Oakenfold - Drama Teacher

BA Hons

Paloma has a degree in Acting from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and an MFA in Theatre Directing from Birkbeck University. Paloma has worked at leading UK drama schools for the past 10 years including: Guildhall, Oxford School of Drama, ALRA, Rose Bruford, Fourth Monkey, Arts Ed and Collective Acting Studio. Her directing credits include: Fix Us (Soho Theatre), Dig (Lyric Hammersmith),The Beard (Arcola). Paloma is a co-founder of Bareface, a theatre company of disabled artists. Their defiant, comedic, autobiographical work has toured the UK. Their first film A Night Of Mistakes also starred Lily James, Tom Stourton and Charly Clive.

Paloma regularly works with Access All Areas, a pioneering company for learning disabled and autistic artists.

As an actor Paloma has starred in BAFTA winning comedy series Chewing Gum and ShowTime series The Borgias. Paloma member of the Fringe Wives Club a feminist cabaret group. Their show won multiple awards including Mervyn Stutter Spirit of the Fringe Award at Edinburgh Fringe, and Best Cabaret at Adelaide Fringe.
